Bertrand Julien-Laferrière

Most recently Bertrand was Head / CEO of Real Estate at ARDIAN, the largest private equity in Europe (€67 bn AUM) where he launched the Real Estate fund management business by successful raising of a pan-European real estate fund with close to $1bn of equity capital (first time fund), implementing a pan-European organization in Paris, Frankfurt and Milan, and deploying 90% of the fund’s investment capacity ($1.5bn of RE deals in France, Germany and Italy).

Previously, Bertrand was CEO Majid Al Futtam Properties in the UAE, of Société Foncière Lyonnaise and CGW Asset Management. He was also Member of the Management Board of UNIBAIL – RODAMCO, the largest European real estate listed Fund and serves as chief development officer real estate for Club Méditerranée and ACCOR hotels.

Bertrand holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Paris, a Master of Science in construction from University of California Berkeley and an MBA from INSEAD.
